Email Autoreponder Intergration With S2Member

Hello Forum, I’m back again, and much sooner than I expected. What I need to know now is how do I integrate my email management service with my S2Member member’s registration or signup. I want to capture the leads to put them in a premade autoresponder sequence. The problem is I don’t use any of the email services listed in S2Members API/List Severs. Can you help?

You can use “API / Notification” interface to build the need URLs for your email service. Which is it, actually? I have an ActiveCampaign integration plugin.

As Krum said, you’d use the Notifications API. WP Admin > s2Member > API / Notifications

If I have the API keys Or List URL to Autoresponder service can I use those to interface wit S2Member?

You can use the s2 notifications by URL or email. Please read the options and documentation here: WP Admin > s2Member > API / Notifications

And if your service doesn’t work with those, you could use them with a custom script that interfaces with your service. https://s2member.com/kb-article/building-an-api-notification-handler-webhook/

Hi Cristian, Ive read the documentation you suggested and I still don’t know where to start. As I said I am looking to send the name and email of a new sign up or register to my email list. Maybe you can show me how to integrate the URL with S2Members API Notifications to do what I want. this is what my autoresponder list URL looks like: “https://member.mailingboss.com/index.php/lists/dq129m83qj9be/subscribe” this URL is to an optin form to my list. What should a whole URL look like with the S2Member replacement codes? Can you help?

I see. But that’s a subscription form. I’d need a URL or email address to add leads to a list…

I tried googling for a MailingBoss API and haven’t come up with anything useful yet.

If you’d like me to look into that, could you send me privately, access to your MailingBoss account so I can explore it looking for the setting/feature you need here?

I managed to find my Mailingboss API URL: https://member.mailingboss.com/api/index.php
I also discovered my api keys. Public and secret. Can I use them to make the interface needed to send leads to my Mailingboss list? If so where can I get the information I need to get going?

I don’t see the documentation for the API there, though. Do you know where it is, so I can figure out the right format for the URL to add a new lead? :slight_smile:

Hi Cristian, I got in contact with Mailingboss. This is what they say: "The need for an “API” has been removed through the integration with ZAPIER; ZAPIER is an integration hub, which has integrate it’s systems with virtually every website builder, funnels builder, email
marketing and automation system available, and enables you to setup all kinds of automation flows between systems of all kinds, it is FREE to setup an account on ZAPIER, and the website is

Please, do got to zapier, SETUP A FREE ACCOUNT, setup a ZAP on it, starting with the system you use in setting up the web form that you have on your website, and then select MAILING BOSS
as the system to which you want all the details on the form, be submitted; BUT… you need to setup a LIST, on Mailing Boss, first, that list MUST HAVE the same fields as available on your web form
to be able to “RECEIVE” all the information coming from the form through Zapier."

The problem is no integration with S2Member at Zapier. So I suppose I’m stuck for the moment.

This creates a whole new problem for me, figuring out how to use another app or finding out even if it will work with S2Member. This is not your problem my friend, I will have to figure this one out myself which will take valuable time that I don’t really have. I’m sorry for wasting your time as well but thank you so much for your help. I will go to adding the downloads tor my free members now at least I can begin to accept new registrations to my membership. :slight_smile:

Thanks for the update!

While searching for their API, I had found their Zapier app, but it seemed very limited to be their only way of integratoin.

Their Zapier integration only gives one action, adding new leads to a list. https://zapier.com/apps/builderall-mailingboss/integrations

I plan to add s2Member to Zapier in the near future.

There Cristian, may i ask is s2 added to zapier?
If not, can you kindly suggest me some other way round?
I want to achieve stripe payment button (not form), then can amend the user membership level and capabilities

No, not yet.

By button, what do you mean? Stripe Checkout? or another tool?

Which when clicked pop up a form within site for credit card info input
No address
No name no email nothing else

Then go to my site and get account registered
