Duplicate declaration of static variable $ppco_sdks : Fatal Error

This error appeared a few days ago when a user uses PayPal as an option.

Fatal error: Duplicate declaration of static variable $ppco_sdks in /home3/sfsdeymy/public_html/wp-content/plugins/s2member/src/includes/classes/sc-paypal-button-in.inc.php on line 450

Version 260127 + s2Member Pro v260127

This issue has become critical in that when I try to edit this page using Elementor, I get a fatal error and cannot edit the page to implement an alternative payment button. This page is years old so I cannot get to the page to discover what this page does to replace it. So, I need a sc-paypal-button-in.inc.php that works. My php skills are not sufficient to address the duplicate declaration, but can edit a simple solution, if one exists. Thank you for any assistance.

Hi Bob. Please try the new release, it should take care of that one.

Thank you, Cristian, Things got critical, so my org moved to Strip credit card processing and I created new webpages for offering membership subscriptions. Things are stable and $ is coming in. I don’t want to upset things for a bit so I will need to wait about 30 days before applying any plugin changes.

Perfectly understandable. When you do try, please let me know how it goes. You can also try in a new draft and preview it. The issue was related to having more than one of the new buttons on the same page with PHP8. That’s resolved now, so you can do the new test whenever you want. Let me know if you have any questions!
