Does S2 Member Work With Moodle & Edweiser Bridge

Hi,

Does S2 Member work with moodle and edweiser bridge plugin. I am simply trying to allow members to create registration credentials for a moodle course after paying through paypal. Seemed like it worked in the past but doesn’t any longer both before and after I updated moodle to 3.0.3, which i needed to do for the edweiser bridge plugin to work. Any help is apprecicated.

1. It’s not sending a registration page after someone pays for the course through paypal.

2. If it did send an email allowing them to register then I’d ask: When going to s2member - paypal options - sign up confirmation email message the code for members to register is %%registration_url%% where is the url in the code generated?

3. While in Paypal Options do you have to use Signup Confirmation Email (stantdard) or Specific Post Page Confirmation Email (standard)? I have had both filled out in the past when it seemed to work. The code %%sp_access_url%% begs the question where is it getting the url in the code?

First, I have no idea whether s2Member has problems with either Moodle and Edweiser Bridge. That said, email problems come in 2 varieties: emails truly aren’t being sent out and emails being marked as SPAM (which can happen even before the email hits any kind of SPAM algorithm: google " wordpress transactional emails not delivered). Please check out this KBA for tips on troubleshooting email delivery.

Second, you can recreate a registration link for your Members here: WordPress Dashboard → s2Member (Pro) → PayPal Options → Member Registration Access Links.

I don’t know “where” the registration URL is generated, but on a non-BuddyPress site it will be a link to wp-login.php. On BuddyPress sites it will be the page set up as the “Register” page.

The default message for either of those will work. The Signup Confirmation Email is the one that is sent for registrations. The Specific Post/Page Confirmation Email is sent for sales of Specific Post/Page Access links.
