Quick and possibly lazy question. I have a website with S2Memb3r pro and stripe. People join to get membership to videos. I have over 350 videos all designated by custom capabilities. Due to some major life changes, I want to open the site up to the public, get rid of the restrictions and stripe. The site will become free. I guess to do this it would be as simple as closing the stripe accounts and just de installing S2Member.
My question is will this effect anything else and will this automatically disengage the custom capabilities. It is as simple as that?
Disconnecting pay site
If you really want to turn all payment and protections off, then you should go to General Options -> Plugin Deletion Safeguards and change that setting to No. Then scroll to the bottom and hit Save All Changes. Then deactivate and delete s2Member. That will get rid not only of all the protections but also of the s2Member roles.
You will also need to go into Stripe and delete the webhook for that site.
