Custom Registration Fields not recognizing length

I entered “serial_number” as a registration field.

Alphanumeric, 23 exactly, expected format xxxxx-xxxxx-xxsxx-xxxxx

But a user can enter anything in the field. (like just 1234)

Shouldn’t they be prompted for an invalid response? How do I force 23 characters?

Do I need to submit a new ticket since I’m not getting any response here since April. Are you seeing this?
