Creating link to post that doesn't redirect

Hey, I am currently finishing up setting up my membership. The site is basically a course that runs over a week. I would like to send people a daily email which has a link to that day’s class. At the moment, when I try and include a link, on logging on the user is redirected to their ‘my account’ page. Is there any way of setting up a link so they are sent to the day’s post instead?

The simple way to do this would be to add a link to your latest post on the top of your login welcome page or to use the Special redirection URL in General Options > Login Welcome Page.
