Create an account before downloading files

Hello,

I am triyng to do something but I can’t figure out. If you have a step by step tutorial it would be great !

I want this :

  1. Have a page with a form to create an account
  2. They fill out the form and get an email to confirm the inscription and they will find a link to my download page
  3. they log in and can download the files (free files)

I don’t know how to create the page for people to create an account. How to do it ?

You don’t need to create a page for people to create an account. That is a standard WordPress feature which is Registration:

https://YOURDOMAINGOESHERE/wp-login.php?action=register

S2member allows you to add custom fields to the registration if you would like.

The main page of your site can be the download page.
