I want to know if I have created a coupon “FREE” with 100% discount and directive set as “ra-only” and applied it to yearly subscription/membership forms then from the next year price will be applied based on the applied coupon code at the time of purchasing the subscription or price will be normal without coupon code.
ra-only means that the coupon will not be applied to the trial period, but will be applied to the recurring subscription rate. So, with a 100% discount the subscription renewal should be free. I’ve never done that though and I’m not sure how that renewal would work on the payment gateway. I don’t know that the gateway would create a subscription with no cost. I’d do a test transaction and then check the gateway to see if the subscription was created.
If it doesn’t work with a 100% discount, you could charge the same price you are charging for your trial period for a lifetime subscription term with no recurring subscription.
