Change s2member logo on the custom login page

Is there some way to change the s2member Logo on the login page. I’ve been following the videos made by Jason Caldwell and they would lead me to believe that this is actually possible but after wasting a stupid amount of time trying to do this, it would appear that this is in fact Not possible.

Is there something I’m missing?. The options outlined in Jason’s video seem to give the the login page a header image like any other WP page. i.e. The big image all your pages have across the top. while doing nothing to the Image across the top of the login form.

Go to General Options -> Login/Registration Design and select Yes. The world is now your oyster.

Apparently I need to find out about the alternate method because when I go to "General Options > Login/Registration Design " and select Yes under "Enable this Functionality” and then under “Background Image” I navagate to the image I want to use it either places this image in the upper left corner while leaving the s2member logo in place above the login form. The only other thing I’ve been able to get it to do is to just remove any and all images from the login form page. Any suggestions as to what I’m missing here.
Also I have set this path on both items “Background Image” and also “Logo Image Location” Nothing I have tried seems to do anything usefull.

BTW I’m working on my Windows 7 desktop machine where I have Apache / MySQL /PHP and Wordpress along with Buddypress and s2member. In otherwords I am building this site on desktop development machine.

You need to go down the page further to Logo Image Configuration

Wouldn’t that be the part labeled “Logo Image Location” ?

Doesn’t appear to do anything
that I can see.

Of course it “does” something. The question is what have you done with it?

OK I sorted it out . I found the image location in the s2member folder renamed the original file and replaced it with the image I wanted to use. Worked perfectly. Never did figure out why it wouldn’t accept the changes as I tried to make them through the interface. Gave up trying.

After next update of s2M you will be surprised with s2M logo again… You must not change files of WP core, themes or plugins. Use settings instead.
