I would like the date format of a custom field to be dd.mm.yyyy The date format is set like this in General settings using this custom format d.m.Y. as suggested in this post Date format in custom field However when I try to register, the date format required is dd/mm/yyyy. I have tried to change the date format to another format in settings, but it still require dd/mm/yyyy.

I have no solution, but if you need this, please PM me. I know the fear of lack of solution…
Thank’s for your response @krumch - I found a “workaround” by setting “Expected format” to “Any Character Combination (exactly 10 characters)” and it does help as the user will have to enter the date format with the correct amount of digits and punctuation’s. It’s not ideal but it will have to do for now.
