Cannot delete custom fields?

Does anybody know how to delete S2Member custom fields directly from the database or wherever they are stored?

I deactivated S2Member but the custom fields remained.

So I reactivated it, went to the options, deleted each of my custom fields, saved, and still the custom fields remained.

So I looked up the Knowledge base and it said to uninstall S2Member after disabling the data protection. So I’ve followed those instructions: I disabled protection, saved, deactivated, then deleted all of the plugin folders and files (via FTP).

Still the fields remain.

Can anybody tell me how to delete these fields? I have full access to the database via phpMyAdmin and files via FTP. But Im not a PHP coder.

Why did you delete the plugin via FTP? That doesn’t run the deactivation procedure; it just deletes files.

You need to reinstall s2Member, and redo the above, but this time deactivate and delete s2Member from within WordPress.

I have solved the issue. But sorry I did not explain myself correctly. I deleted the folders via the Wordpress admin; not via FTP.
