Cancellation notifications?

We need to set up a notification email for cancellations so that we can make changes to our accounting system internally.

I’ve been reading about how to utilize API/notifications and a mu-plugin to create a notification script for cancellations.

Does anyone know of an, already created, basic email plugin that I could use as a starting point? (I have a medium level knowledge of programming, but don’t really have the time to do all the reading at this moment)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After posting this, I continued to study the process and thought I would report back in case anyone else is searching for this in the future.

In the API/Notifications area, select Cancellation Notifications, and scroll to the bottom of that section. Insert your email address and you will receive an email with each cancellation. (Screenshot attached)
