Can I hide specific custom fields on the registration form?

Hello all!

Is it possible to hide a custom field in the registration form - something like described here:

I needed a custom field for internal administration (filled with some notes) - I have set the field, created the mu-plugin like described and it works for the “edit profile” in the internal area.
In the login form it’s still visible - I have hidden it with CSS for now, but it would be cleaner if it would not appear in the source code at all.

Hi Hans.

The profile field has an option to disallow profile edits by the user:

s2-custom-profile-field-option-allow-profile-edits
