Can I do this with S2Member Pro?

Hello all

I’m on the verge of investing n S2Member Pro, but I’d just like to describe my intended use to be sure that I’m making the right choice.

Basically I’d like to give private language schools the option of giving their students free membership (say between 50 and 200 students each) on my site for a year. I will probably bill these schools off-line.

Could I achieve this using S2Member and coupon codes? Would I need to create a separate page for coupon codes for each school which they could then give their students? Or perhaps there is an easier way of doing this which I’m overlooking …

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Some questions first:

If billing will be offline, why you need coupon codes (used in online billing)?

Each school will need to create accounts of each student? Or students will create accounts themself? Maybe easer will be you (or teachers) to create one account, and let teachers give them to his students. You also may need this plugin.

Alternatively, may use this plugin to allow teachers to handle student’s account. It’s used by several academic organizations (and one of them uses both plugins I show you), maybe will be good for you too.

Thank you. To answer your first question, the schools would pay a fee and then I would give them whatever number of coupon codes they need for their students. The codes would give them totally free access for one year, so there wouldn’t be any online billing for now.

About the plugins you suggest, thank you, but the 80 dollars for S2Member Pro is already stretching my budget for the moment! I’ll bear them in mind though.

Understand. With Pro-forms you can use codes and to create users, free of charge, on whatever level you need them. Then create code with limited number of uses, teachers will give them to his students. Or, create the number of “one time codes”, same as number of students, for better security (but lot of manual work).

Just to be clear, Colin, what you want are Redemption Codes/Gift Certificates and not what s2Member calls Coupon Codes.
