Is it possible to have posts available to the public BUT to also include them in a bundle with other paid items for Members? For example, we have blog posts with podcast links and we’d like to bundle with paid online courses - we’re using Easy Digital Downloads for that. I’d love your thoughts/help.guidance.
Bundle public posts with paid items
To address your question directly, you can sell bundles of posts by following the instructions at Stripe (or PayPal) Pro Forms -> Specific Post/Page (Buy Now) Forms. But if you want some of these posts to be available to the public as well, you will need to clone them so that they are not protected.
However, while this is possible, that isn’t the primary way that s2Member works. Normally you simply sell a role (known as an s2Member level) and/or a custom capability (ccap) and then protect the relevant posts and pages so that only someone with that role or ccap (or a combination thereof) can access them. If you want some posts or pages also left accessible to the public, you would simply leave them unprotected. This method has the great advantage over the one described in the previous paragraph because there is no need to clone posts or pages.
