Advanced import issues

Hi,

Is use advanced import to migrate my existing members to the new website. I followed these steps:

  • fill in a new user via maintenance screen with all fields filled
  • advanced export of all users
  • made a copy of the export to use that as import
  • prepared some test members to import
  • CONTENT: importfile contains first line with filed-names, and some test members

Issue:

  • first test member is not imported (I can deal with that)
  • some fields are filled with the information of other fields and thats really a problem

Can someone help me with this?

@AustinHealey: s2M needs exactly column names. I have assembled “How to use s2Member Pro export/import function” manual, may be help for you.

Thanks all,
The issue was that import of capabilities caused a problem. I had two capabilities for every member; standard level 3 access but also ‘contributor’ to BBPRESS forums. When I remove the latter I can import without a problem. I can update the BBPRESS role afterwards via the GUI. So, therefor for me this is sufficient.
