Admin unable to view some membership level protected pages in chrome

I’m getting some very odd behaviour with s2 member using google chrome on both desktops and mobiles.

I have a membership website some some pages set to general visibility and then others to level 2, 3 and I’ve just added level 4. When I’m logged in as an admin I’ve never had a problem viewing any of the pages for any user level.

However, I recently added some pages at a new level 4 membership level. When I login as a site admin and try to view the pages in safari or firefox (on mac) there is never an issue. However, when I try to view them through chrome on mac or android I am taken to the page that shows when a user doesn’t have a high enough membership level. In other words, I’m bring blocked from viewing those pages when I’m signed in as an admin on Chrome. It’s very odd because other browsers are not affected and I can view level 1-3 pages just fine.

I’ve tried clearing cache and cookies and that doesn’t fix it.

I’m wondering if there is a bug somewhere in how chrome handles the session cookies, but I can’t find any documentation about it.

Has anyone had something similar happen to them and does anyone know how I might fix it?

Thanks!

It sounds like you need to clear the browser cache in Chrome.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried that but it doesn’t fix the issue.

Then you have missed something somewhere. s2Member does nothing to the admin role, and no-one has ever reported Chrome having a problem like this. I certainly don’t have it.

You need to go through the admittedly laborious process of re-checking everything. Maybe your host might be able to help.
