Add Sort Functionality to All Posts in WP Admin Dashboard

I publish both free & premium (S2 restricted) content (posts) on my site. After a limited period of time, which varies depending on the content of the post, I need to be able to remove the S2 restriction to make that post available to non-members.

As I publish numerous post per day & only remove the S2 member level restrictions periodically in batches, typically after several weeks to several months since the published date, I need to be able to do this in a more streamlined process.

When viewing “All Posts” in the WP admin dashboard, there is a column to show all posts that have been set to an S2member level restriction. However, unlike some of the other columns (post title, date & some additional columns added by the Yoast SEO plugin), the S2 restriction column does not have the sort function.

More importantly, although that would be a very useful feature for my site as I’d imagine others, I would also need to the ability to change or remove the S2 level access in the WP “bulk edit” function, as I will periodically remove the S2 level restriction on dozens of posts at once.

My only option now is to manually click “edit” on each post, change the S2 restriction level, save that post & move on to the next one. Extremely time consuming. Any help or adding the 2 functionality above to S2member would be greatly appreciated.

If you’re willing to get your hands dirty, you could adapt the code from tutorials like this one and get what you want: https://wpdreamer.com/2012/03/manage-wordpress-posts-using-bulk-edit-and-quick-edit/

Thank you very much for passing that along Tim. I will see if I can get it working on my local site before rolling out to my live site. If I get stuck I’ll use a programmer to help. You wouldn’t have one that you recommend by chance, including yourself if that is what you do?

Well, coding is certainly not my “day job!” You could try @JediShark and @krumch, who post here regularly. Alternatively, I highly recommend Codection. While it’s based in Spain, Alberto and Javier speak excellent English and they have done some high quality work for me. (They are also responsible for a couple of highly-rated plugins on wordpress.org, which is how I found them originally.)

Very much appreciated Tim. If I contact Codection or the other two programmers that you recommended, I will let them know that you referred me. Best regards, RP.
