Hey there
I’ve been using s2 Member a while now and I’ve just signed up to the pro version for my new multi site project and it’s so far working perfectly for me
I’m now getting down to some smaller visual stuff so basically all I want to do is exactly what it says in the title of this topic - I would like to add some placeholder text to the First name and Second name fields of my registration form.
So you can take a look at what I’ve achieved so far here;
So as you can see I have added placeholder text to the Username and Email fields but haven’t been able to add it for the First name and Second name fields.
So what I done to achieve this for the first two fields was to go in to my wp-login.php file and basically do this
<input placeholder="Username" />
And just add that to the desired input
Now! … As the First name and Second name fields are pulling in from s2 Member they are not in the wp-login.php file so I am unable to add these.
I hope that’s clear what I am trying to achieve here, so my question really is is this possible, is there a file I can go to to add my place holder text, is there somewhere in the UI I can add this option or is there a better way to go about doing this that I have missed?
I’ve searched through the forum here and couldn’t find an answer to my question but this is my first time using this forum (first time I’ve needed to so that says something!) So hopefully that’s everything you need and hopefully I haven’t posted this in the wrong place or done something else stupid
Thank you in advance everyone for even just taking a look at my problem
Regards,
Neil
