Add Custom Capabilities (CCAP) programmatically to a post or page

Hi all,

Is it possible to add, as stated in the title of this topic, custom capabilities to a page and /or post via PHP?
I haven’t read the full s2Member codex, yet, but I think it should be possible.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
