7 day trial then one time fee (lifetime access)

Hi all,

I’m using S2member framework with paypal button shortocdes. I’m trying to setup a 7 day trial for $1 and then after 7 days automatically charge members $497 for lifetime access.

I’ve tried to play around with the shortcode but I haven’t had any success.

I noticed under the attributes explained section it has this:

ta=“0.00” Trial Amount. Only valid w/ Membership Level Access. Must be 0 when rt=“L” or when rr=“BN”.
tp=“0” Trial Period. Only valid w/ Membership Level Access. Must be 0 when rt=“L” or when rr=“BN”.

Does this mean I cannot offer a trial because I need to use the “L” for lifetime access?

Bit confused here to I would appreciate any help!

You can’t have a trial period with a Buy Now purchase.

To do something along the lines of what you want, you’d need to give a 7-day trial, and then use a Billing Modification form to upsell to lifetime access. But obviously that doesn’t work automatically: the user has to positively complete the modification form.
