414 Request too long error - any workarounds?

I use Godaddy shared hosting (no haters please). They have a seriously limited length allowed for url’s, so I’m not able to use any of the checkout forms generated by shortcode. I get a 414 Request Too Long error.

Does anyone know of a work around that a non-techy like me can do on my own for those long shortcodes?

Barring a work-around, can anyone recommend a hosting service that is inexpensive and does not have those kind of URI limits? (A work-around is preferable.)

Unfortunately, workaround needs custom code, so will be more expensive that to move to another host…

You already know the answer to this really. If you need to start developing workarounds because of your host, then it’s time to switch hosts. The good news is that all the good hosts will move you painlessly for free and will provide better performance than GoDaddy. Many will be cheaper too.

Yeah, sadly I will have to find a new host. I’ve been with Godaddy since 2006, so had some loyalty. But business is business!
