I want to set up a 2 for 1 membership option where the first member registers their membership and then enters another person’s email for a 2nd membership and pays for both memberships with one paypal payment. Is there a simple way to do this that I am missing? I use the pro version and also have customer address fields that need to be entered for each member. So the person setting up a membership for their “friend” will have to enter the address fields for the friend as well. Any thoughts?

2 for 1 Membership option
The only way I know to do what you want would be to use Krum’s Groups add-on: http://krumch.com/2013/07/09/kc-groups-management/ It was designed more for corporate/institutional use, but it should do what you want.
The other alternative would be to use coupons instead.
