When someone clicks on Login/Register, I would like a popup similar to the one seen on the s2member website. Please Help.
How do I Set-up a Pop Up Login?
Just out of curiosity, what is it that you think making a login form into a modal pop-up adds to your user experience? Many, many users have pop-ups disabled: if they are using Chrome they may not even be aware they are blocking them. Changing a straight-forward form into a pop-up they may naver see adds only confusion to their experience. I loved the first version of this book: Don’t Make Me Think Revisited.
Personally, I always find modal windows annoying. Often they pop-up under something and I have to go searching for them because everything stops working. Sometimes I use Task Manager to shut down the browser. I may or may not try again, and if I do by the time I figure out it was a modal pop-up that made my user experience hell I’m pretty annoyed at the website that used the pop-up.
